I concluded my season last week at the Children’s Miracle Network Classic by finishing tied for 25th. Although my results for the year are not up to my usual standards, my play during the fall finish has me excited about the 2009 season.
In reflecting on 2008, my season included twelve top twenty-five finishes along with four top-ten finishes. In addition, I led the Bellsouth and Turning Stone events entering the last day before finishing T8 and T3 respectively. In hindsight, I was very close to playing well; but, I did not seem to have that breakthrough that creates momentum.
After playing 31 events this year, I am off to Italy for some R &R. Heather and I are excited to get away and do some traveling. Once I return, I will update you on my trip and off-season practice.
