This week I am in Charlotte, NC for the Quail Hollow Championship, one of the best events on the PGA Tour. I am always excited to get to Charlotte—great golf course, incredible hospitality, get to see friends and family from Augusta, etc.
The last two weeks my game has been really close. I was tied for the lead through two rounds at Hilton Head before finishing 20th; last week in New Orleans I finished poorly but really played solid all week.
Quail Hollow GC is in perfect condition and the golf course set-up gives this week a major championship feeling. The field is great with 8 of the top 10 in the world playing, so I am excited about the week.
